About

Professor Itabaiana Jr has experience in biocatalysis, biotransformation and use of biomass for the production of bioproducts of industrial interest. He is currently a CNRS researcher at UCCS and works on development of new concept of hybrid catalysis for the transformation of biomass residues, such as pyrolysis oils, lignin and microbial hydrolysis derivatives into products with higher added value. among ongoing projects, can be highlighted:

  1. “Biomass valorization through thermochemical pathways» CatBioINNOV regional project.
  2. “Catalyses and bio-economy” RECABIO I-SITE project.
